Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) forms part of the Philippine’s delegation to the climate negotiations in the 28th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) hosted by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change from November 30 to December 12, 2023, in Expo City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

MANILA – The Institute for Labor Studies Gender and Development Committee successfully organized a webinar titled “Violence x Harassment: How Does It Affect Productivity” on 15 December 2023 via Zoom platform and Facebook Live. The webinar explores the importance of the ratification of the the Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190) its accompanying Recommendation (No. 206), known as ILO Convention 190 or C190 , the first-ever international treaty on violence and harassment in the world of work.

QUEZON CITY The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) successfully hosted the 12th DOLE Research Conference held from November 28 to 29 at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City, with in-person and online attendees. 

MANILA The Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) conducted a webinar as part of its development advocacy dubbed “No Health Without Mental Health: Advancing Mental Health Promotion in Workplaces” on 16 November 2023 live via Zoom and its official Facebook page.
